Rainbow Dash is torn between fulfilling her dreams and acting on her feelings for Twilight Sparkle. Does Twilight not feel the same way, or is she simply oblivious to Rainbow's intentions?
Well hopefully I can settle into this a bit more comfortably without a bunch of holiday stuff getting in the way.
We're so close to a change of scenery that I'm almost worried about it. I've gotten too used to the Library. Not to mention the complexity of the backgrounds in the later parts of the story.
The final panel was meant to be two panels, but I decided against it so I could start the next conversation on the next page. There was also meant to be more stuff on the table (the ink wells, the candle, etc), but Photoshop crashed on me while I was working on it... after I'd just got done telling everyone how constantly saving was my habit when working with Adobe products... go me.
The "My Little Pony", "Friendship is Magic" franchises belong to Hasbro and "Friendship is Magic" was created by Lauren Faust.
Building Bridges is a fan fic, written by Cloudy Skies.
Art is done by ~Somepony.
I would be too if I thought my time with my crush might be coming to an end!
I think your timing here is good, as with the last panel of stargazing in a previous page.
Keeping us hanging for the next one
That middle panel makes twilight look way more worried than you probably intended her to actually be. I'm guessing, that is! I'm no artist :'D
But I would've went with a look of confusion, rather than worry. Nobody likes non-consented touching. It just comes off wrong on so many levels.
plz make more ;_;
Come across Building Bridges comic, AWESOME!
See upload date of latest page... Jan 15th... NOOO!
Still adds to watchlist like a boss.
I want to know how it goes further. Will they become a pair? Will there be more cute actions of rainbow dash? Will TS notice it by her own? I cant wait any longer!!! >_<
I'm surprised I'm liking the story, even though I'm not for lesbian ponies. Then again, this is the first shipping story I've bothered to check out.
I can't wait for page 17!
As for the whole Lesbians thing, well to be honest, the gender really isn't a factor for me (or most people for that matter), I've read plenty of fics where one (or in some cases, both) of these two were male. What's important is the character. I really love the idea of these two personalities exploring the possibilities of "more than friends". I've always maintained that the show could feature amorphous blobs as the main characters, and it would probably still shine (although it may not be anywhere near as cute ), the main reason you find that the amount of lesbian shipping (if we're talking about primarily Mane 6 here), is the fact that these six ponies are generally the only ones with the most developed character. Spike comes almost as close to character as they do, which is why he's probably the most prominent male ship you'd find out there, though dont quote me on that, I dont have the actual numbers in front of me, haha.
To be honest, I was wrong to judge shipping stories. This story is actually making me want to check out some more of them.
And again, I can't wait for page 17!
